How to order on USFans for the first time

A first order on USFans from registration to delivery: opening a link from the spreadsheet, cart, payment, warehouse, QC photos, shipping and customs.

What USFans does for you

Taobao, Weidian and 1688 sellers mostly ship inside mainland China, want payment through Chinese apps and run their storefronts in Chinese. USFans sits in the middle: you pay USFans, it buys the item from the seller, receives it at a warehouse in China, photographs it, and forwards it to you on an international line. For this it charges a service fee of 5 % of the item price (as of September 2026, listed on its fee page), plus the shipping you choose.

Everything below assumes you are starting from a find in this spreadsheet, but the steps are the same for any product link you paste into USFans yourself.

Step 1: register

Create an account through the sign-up link on this site (the "Get your USFans coupons" button). The link carries this site's referral code; it pays a commission to the editor and does not change your price or fees. You need an email address and a password. USFans has iOS and Android apps, but the website is enough for a first order and easier for copying links.

After registering, look at the coupon section of your account. New accounts get a sign-up coupon that changes month to month; note its minimum spend and expiry before you plan the order.

Step 2: open the item

From the spreadsheet, click Open on USFans on the find you want. The USFans product page opens with the listing translated, the seller's current price in your display currency and the variant selectors. If you have a link from somewhere else, paste it into the search bar at the top of USFans; it accepts Taobao, Tmall, Weidian and 1688 item URLs.

Compare the price on the USFans page with the sheet. Small differences are normal (the sheet shows the last recorded price, USFans shows the live one). A large jump usually means the seller repriced or the cheapest variant sold out.

Step 3: choose variants and write a remark

Pick size and colour from the selectors. For listings that bundle many designs under one link (common for tees and jerseys), the selectors may not list every design; use the remark field to tell the seller exactly what you want: design number, team, name and number for a jersey, or a description of the photo you are choosing. USFans passes the remark to the seller when it buys.

If you need measurements, ask before paying. The product page has a way to message support with a question for the seller; a chest width and length in centimetres is worth a day's delay.

Step 4: cart and payment

Add the item to your cart and check out. At this stage you pay the item price, the 5 % service fee and domestic shipping from the seller to the USFans warehouse, which is usually a few yuan. International shipping is not paid now; it is paid later when the parcel is packed and weighed.

USFans accepts the usual international payment methods; which ones are shown depends on your country and is displayed at checkout. Pay from a balance if you plan several orders, or pay per order if this is a test. After payment the order shows as pending purchase until an agent buys it from the seller, typically within a day.

  • Item price (the live seller price, not the sheet price)
  • USFans service fee: 5 % of item price
  • Domestic shipping: seller to warehouse, a few yuan
  • International shipping: paid later, at the shipping step
  • Import duty or VAT: paid at delivery if your country charges it

Step 5: wait for the warehouse

The seller ships domestically, which takes two to seven days depending on where the seller is. When the parcel arrives, USFans logs it, and the order status changes to arrived or in warehouse. Processing at the warehouse takes 1–2 days as of September 2026. Items sit in your warehouse account until you decide to ship them; you can keep adding orders and send everything together.

If the seller has no stock, USFans cancels that item and refunds it to your balance. This happens more often than people expect on cheap, high-order listings, and it is the reason to order a size or two you can live with when the listing shows low stock.

Step 6: check the QC photos

When an item is logged at the warehouse, USFans takes QC photos: the item from a few angles, tags, and often a weight reading. As of September 2026 QC photos are free and unlimited, and you can request more with a specific instruction ("photograph the insole", "show the zip open"). The QC guide on this site goes through what to look for per category.

You decide at this point: accept, request more photos, or return to the seller. Returns from the warehouse are possible when the item is wrong or defective; the seller may deduct domestic shipping. Once the parcel leaves China, returns are impractical.

Do not skip QC on cheap items. A 30-yuan tee with the wrong print costs the same to ship as the right one, and the shipping is the larger part of the bill.

Step 7: ship

Select the items to ship, pick a line and submit. USFans packs the parcel, weighs it and quotes the shipping cost; you pay, and the tracking number appears within a day or two. The lines available depend on destination and contents: as of September 2026 the bands are a tax-free US line at $12–15 per kg (12–18 days), EMS at $18–22 per kg (10–15 days), FedEx or DHL express at $22–35 per kg (5–8 days) and sea freight at $6–8 per kg (30–45 days). Items with batteries are excluded from some lines.

Before you submit you fill in a customs declaration: a description and a value. Declare honestly and generically ("clothing", "shoes"). The customs guide covers what to expect in the US, EU, UK, Canada and Australia.

Step 8: delivery

Track the parcel on the carrier's site. If duty or VAT is due, the carrier contacts you before delivery, and the parcel is released when you pay. Once it arrives, check everything against the QC photos; if something differs, open a ticket with USFans with photos, but expect the options to be limited at this stage.

Questions

How long does a first order take end to end?

Roughly: one day for purchase, two to seven days domestic shipping, 1–2 days processing, then the international line: 5–8 days express, 10–18 days on EMS or the tax-free line, 30–45 by sea. Three to four weeks is typical on an economy line.

Can I order from several sellers in one go?

Yes. Each item is bought separately and arrives at the warehouse on its own schedule. You ship them together once all have arrived. There is no need to wait for one to arrive before ordering the next.

What if the seller repriced after I paid?

USFans asks you to pay the difference or cancels and refunds the item. Sheet prices are the last recorded price and do not bind the seller.

Do I need to speak Chinese?

No. USFans translates listings and handles seller communication. Write remarks in plain English and keep them short.

Is the referral link required?

No. You can register at usfans.com without it. Using it funds this site at no cost to you.
