USFans Watches Spreadsheet

37 watch finds from the sellers we work with: quartz chronographs, G-Shock-style digitals, steel-case dive and dress watches, and a few automatic pieces at the top of the range. Watches are a small part of the pool and the finds usually carry no brand tag, because the tag list covers apparel and sneaker labels and watch listings are named by movement type, case size and style. Weidian holds the higher-priced steel watches, 1688 the cheap quartz chronographs, and Taobao a mix of both. Filter by store to separate the two tiers quickly.

Watches are light, dense and easy to damage in transit, and they get more attention at customs than clothing, so the tips below focus on packaging and declarations rather than on sizing. Listings rarely say whether the movement is quartz or automatic, so ask the seller through USFans and request a video of the second hand at QC. Sort by price, high to low, for the steel-case pieces, or search for "chronograph", "submariner" or "datejust". The count of finds updates live as sellers add and hide listings.

Before you order watches

  • Ask for a QC photo of the caseback, the crown pulled out, and the clasp open. Ask for a short video of the second hand running; a quartz watch ticks once per second, a mechanical one sweeps.
  • A watch weighs 100–200 g but the box and cushion can add 500 g. Ask USFans to ship without the box unless you want it, and to wrap the watch in bubble wrap inside the parcel.
  • Ask for the case diameter and lug-to-lug in millimetres. A 36 mm case and a 44 mm case look identical in seller photos.
  • Ship watches in a parcel with clothing rather than alone. Padding matters more than speed, and a lone watch in a padded envelope is the most common way to receive a cracked crystal.
  • Declare watches at a realistic value. Electronics and watches are checked more often than apparel, and an implausibly low declaration is a bigger problem than a small duty bill.

Watches on USFans

Which watches are ordered most?

Keep the default order. Promoted finds come first because sellers pay for that placement; the cards after them are ranked by recorded orders, so that is the current most-ordered list. Cheap quartz chronographs and G-Shock-style digitals usually lead, with the steel dive and dress watches behind them.

Why is the watches category so small?

The pool is apparel-focused, and watches are matched mostly by words like "watch" or "chronograph" in the listing name. Some watch listings also land in accessories, which is defined more broadly. The count changes live as sellers add and hide listings.

Are these automatic or quartz?

The cheapest listings are quartz. Higher up the range some are automatic, but the listing name is not reliable; ask the seller for the movement type through USFans and request a video of the second hand at QC.

How much does a watch cost to ship?

Without the box, a watch adds 100–200 g to a parcel, so it is close to free when shipped with other items. Alone, the carrier minimum applies. Express at $22–35 per kg is often chosen for watches because transit time is short and handling is gentler, but the tax-free US line at $12–15 per kg works if the watch is padded.
