USFans Accessories Spreadsheet · page 5

844 accessory finds from the sellers we work with: socks, caps and beanies, belts, wallets and cardholders, chains and bracelets, sunglasses, keychains, plus bags and watches that match the accessories pattern by name. It is the cheapest category on the site and the one with the highest order counts, because socks and caps are consumables that buyers reorder. 1688 tends to lead here, since multi-packs of socks and cardholders are wholesale products, with Weidian carrying the Louis Vuitton belts and Chrome Hearts jewellery and Taobao the caps and sunglasses.

Before you order accessories

  • Socks, caps and belts weigh 50–150 g each. Ten of them add about a kilo, which on the tax-free US line is $12–15, so they are cheap to add to a parcel and expensive to ship alone.
  • Belts: ask for the length in centimetres, not a size. Ask for a QC photo of the buckle back and the belt edge, which is where PU shows.
  • Jewellery and chains: ask for the weight in grams and a photo on a scale. Plated brass and solid silver look the same in seller photos and very different on a scale.
  • Caps: ask for a photo of the inside sweatband and the embroidery from the back. Loose thread ends on the inside are the usual sign of a low-grade batch.
  • Multi-pack listings (socks, cardholders) sometimes ship a random mix. Write the colours you want in the order remark.
  • Sunglasses: ask for a photo of the lens held up to a light source and of the hinge. Poorly fitted lenses show a gap at the frame.

What accessories are ordered most?

Leave the default order. Promoted finds, which sellers pay to place, come first; after those the grid ranks by recorded orders, and cheap consumables with recurring demand take that part of the list: sock multi-packs, cardholders and caps. Branded belts and jewellery sit further down.

Why do bags and watches appear here too?

The accessories category is defined broadly so that hats, belts, wallets, bags, watches and jewellery all land somewhere. Bags and watches also have their own smaller categories. A find is placed by its stored category first and its name second, so some listings match accessories while others match the smaller category.

Is it worth ordering accessories on their own?

Rarely. A single belt or cap costs a few dollars but the carrier minimum weight makes the shipping the biggest part of the bill. Add accessories to an apparel parcel, or order enough of them to pass 1 kg.

What about the phone and earbuds listings?

They match the accessories pattern by name. Electronics carry more risk than apparel: battery items are restricted on some lines, customs looks at them more closely, and a defect cannot be spotted from photos. The electronics category and the customs guide cover those points.
